DIRECTIONS TO THE CASTLE
TERRELL CASTLE IS LOCATED JUST 18 BLOCKS NORTH OF THE CENTER OF TOWN.
From the Airport:
Take 281South to IH 35 North (to Austin) to 1st exit (New Braunfels Ave.) Turn left on New Braunfels Ave. over IH35N approximately 3 blocks to the gate of Fort Sam Houston. Turn left (at gate) onto Grayson St. approximately 4 ½ blocks to # 950, a large limestone castle across the side (Willow) street from St. Paul’s Episcopal church.
From Austin/Dallas:
Take I35 South to downtown San Antonio. Take New Braunfels Ave. exit (Exit 159A), turn right to gate at Fort Sam Houston. Take left on Grayson St. approximately 4 ½ blocks to # 950, a large limestone castle across the side (Willow) street from St. Paul’s Episcopal church.
From Houston:
Take IH 10 to San Antonio, then follow IH 37 North. Just on North side of San Antonio, just past the Alamodome, IH35N branches off to the right. Follow IH35N and then take the first exit--New Braunfels Ave. Go left on New Braunfels Ave over IH35 approximately 3 blocks to the gates of Fort Sam Houston. Turn left on Grayson St. approximately 4 ½ blocks to #950, a large limestone castle across the side (Willow) street from St. Paul’s Episcopal church.
